Oracle-Hyperion merger gets clearance

Hyperion has been given the go-ahead from US regulatory authorities to buy performance management and business intelligence firm Hyperion Solutions for $3.3bn.

The offer was set to expire on April 13. Oracle tabled its bid for Santa Clara, California-based Hyperion in March.
