Digital Management, a provider of IT offerings and business strategy consulting firm, has signed a new contract with the Department of Commerce (DOC) Office of General Counsel (OGC) to build an Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS).
The agreement will improve the quality, consistency and timeliness of matter, project, and assignment information used and reported across OGC.
Under the agreement, Digital Management will develop, implement, and support an integrated, scalable document management system that interfaces with existing Department and other US Government information technology systems.
The company said that based on Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and an array of advanced integrated technologies for workflow, database processing and document storage, the system will enable the OGC to extend and reinforce its culture of excellence, service, and creative collaboration across its broadly distributed operations.
The OGC provides direction to more than 400 attorneys, located in ten regional offices and provides legal and policy direction to support the Patent and Trademark Office, the Economic Development Administration, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration.
Digital Management president and CEO Jay Sunny Bajaj said as an accomplished Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, they are uniquely qualified to meet DOC-OGC’s need for an enterprise-wide EDMS.
"We have developed industry-leading practices that accelerate solution development and bring high value technologies to bear, enabling us to quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively deliver on DOC-OGC’s requirements," Bajaj said.
