GCF International has acquired Division 5 Technology, a privately-held software development company enabling companies to manage their data storage in the cloud infrastructure.

GCF will integrate Division 5 Technology, a provider of website hosting and data centres, into its corporate VPN sector.

Division 5 Technology offering uses capabilities to power cloud-based website hosting and on-demand offerings for corporations planning to consolidate their data storage.

Division 5 Technology can also enable organisations to assess and remediate the level of risk posed to their businesses through their applications.

Division 5 Hosting will be offered as part of the GCF International CloudServ family of Web Hosting and Data storage offerings.

The combined offering will provide a comprehensive offering for organisations concerned about the security of their cloud based servers and the preservation of clients personal information and details, the company said.

GCF enables users to deploy global data storage offerings with encrypted data, such as the PCI regulated encryption initiative and global privacy regulations.

GCF can provide users with an cloud-based storage offerings protected by the highest level of data encryption and protecting the users from cyber attacks and stolen data.

GCF International CEO Max Stiegemeier said the acquisition of Division 5 Technology will enable GCF to provide a secure and encrypted ‘in the cloud’ transmission of data utilising deployment of servers across multiple redundant networks.
