HP has unveiled a comprehensive support offering ‘Critical Advantage’ that it says enables clients running business-critical applications on its virtualised ProLiant servers to improve performance and availability.

The new HP Critical Advantage service provides clients with an assigned account team to deliver support and maintain uptime of business-critical, virtualised environments.

The comprehensive service offering delivers support for business-critical applications in virtualised x86 environments and also helps in avoiding unplanned downtime while enhancing performance.

The company said that the Critical Advantage services maintain clients uptime by offering support levels based on needs and budget while its Global Mission Critical Solution Centre reduces frequency and duration of outages by providing reactive support and incident resolution for complex business-critical environments.

HP said that the Critical Advantage services include performance and capacity analysis for virtual environments; virtualisation readiness workshop for critical applications; and availability analysis in virtual environments.
