NetSuite, a provider of cloud-based financials/ERP software suites, has opened its dedicated cloud centre in Europe focused on the development of cloud ERP-based business management software suites.
Headquartered in Brno, Czech Republic, the new cloud development centre is expected to focus on extending NetSuite’s offerings to meet the needs of global companies.
NetSuite is planning to add more than 100 new employees in Brno over the next year, focusing on software engineering and development across NetSuite’s product offering, with particular focus in ERP, Ecommerce and CRM.
NetSuite’s European Cloud Development Centre will be managed by Zain Nemazie, NetSuite vice president of Engineering.
NetSuite CEO Zach Nelson said the establishment of the first major dedicated Cloud ERP development centre in Europe allows them to accelerate the functionality required by enterprises large and small operating around the world.
"The city’s strong universities, rich history, and deep roster of other international IT leaders make Brno uniquely suited to meet our requirements for world-class engineering talent," Nelson said.
NetSuite’s initial office will be established at The South Moravian Innovation Center, which aims to promote innovative entrepreneurship and commercialisation of research and development in the Czech Republic’s South Moravian Region.
