Huawei, a provider of telecommunications network offerings, has launched a new digital transaction store – Digital Shopping Mall (DSM).
Huawei said that DSM provides operators with a unified service platform that aggregates mobile internet applications, enables more revenue generation, and delivers a better cloud-based service experience to end users.
The new hosted digital shopping mall features pre-selected, integrated telecom services, applications and media content, which relieves operator from handling application/content aggregation or partner management.
The company said that the new offering provides a variety of cloud services, such as music, e-reading, and games, supports multiple devices, including smartphones, feature phones, and special terminals, and is open to an array of primary terminal systems, such as Android, RIM, and Symbian.
The DSM also enables operators to offer flexible service packages and allows end users to have a range of payment options.
Huawei Software vice president George Huang said, the new Digital Shopping Mall enables operators to increase their operating income, improve efficiency, and achieve business success.
