Panasonic has enhanced the Toughbook CF-C1 range with a multi-touch resistive screen, web camera option and a two-year accidental damage warranty.

Panasonic said that the convertible notebook features Intel Core i5-520M vPro processor (2.4 GHz with turbo boost up to 2.93 GHz, Intel Smart Cache 3MB), which offers efficient performance along with vPro business features.

The new multi-touch screen feature of the tablet allows pinching and stretching gestures on screen to control zooming, and is also pressure and gesture sensitive, allowing actions such as rotation of objects on screen.

The two year accidental damage warranty offered covers a complete range of damages including: non-intentional liquid spills, drops, falls, collisions and electrical surges and even covers damaged or broken LCD displays.

In addition, the new CF-C1 is equipped with a twin hot-swappable battery that provides up to 10 hours of operation and allows users to swap batteries while the unit is running.

Toughbook CF-C1 also comes with with 3G, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity which enables business users to transmit key data from the device.
