ZTE, a provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, has launched the100G end-to-end carrier network offering, which will provide bandwidth capacity for network operators.
According to ZTE, through the deployment of its ZXWM M920 and ZXONE 8000 as part of UWB (ultra wide band) 100G carrier network offering, operators can eliminate the traffic bottleneck in core networks, and meet demands of growing data business.
The company said that to achieve 80-wave, 100G ultra-wide system capacity, the new offering incorporates use of ZXR10 T8000 in IP layer, which can support multiple services with compromising performance in case of full-service overlapping.
In addition, ZTE has independently developed multiplexing QPSK modulation technology to support ultra-long distance transmissions of around 1000km without the need for power relays.
ZTE said that it will also deploy its ZXR10 8900E core switch at the convergence access layer of the 100G end-to-end carrier network solution.
ZTE carrier network product line general manager Fan Xiaobing said that the company was involved in drafting the proposal for 100GE standard of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), in advancing 100G system of China Communications Standards Association (CCSA), and proposal for 100G standard of Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF).
