Internet content security provider Trend Micro has launched SafeSync, a new online backup solution, which offers a secure personal cloud to individual consumers.
Trend Micro claims that SafeSync is the first product resulting from its acquisition of online storage and data synchronisation company humyo.
SafeSync features an automatic online backup and data synchronisation of files to a secure online storage centre across multiple computers and internet-connected devices.
It also enables customers to share home videos and other media content, directly from its account, without the hassle of downloads and bulky emails.
In addition, SafeSync offers continuous backup for selected files and folders by instantly replicating any changes on a consumer’s local machine, easy data recovery, synchronisation, speed, efficiency, and security.
Trend Micro consumer and small business general manager Carol Carpenter said that the company’s new SafeSync offering redefines customer’s digital life by automatically syncing their data to internet cloud with unparalleled protection.
