MicroStrategy, a provider of business intelligence software, has introduced Mobile suite, a software package that allows companies to build mobile business intelligence applications at no cost.

The new Mobile suite allows companies to extend graphs, grids, enterprise reports, and information dashboards to the iPhone and iPad.

The company said that by using a point-and-click interface, mobile BI applications can be built using an intuitive array of iPhone and iPad-optimised displays and controls.

The new Mobile suite includes 25 perpetual named user licenses of MicroStrategy Mobile, MicroStrategy Report Services, MicroStrategy OLAP Services, and MicroStrategy Intelligence Server; free e-mail support for 60 days for two named support liaisons for one-on-one problem solving; and free online support featuring an easily searchable technical knowledge repository.

In addition, the Mobile suite also provides free online training with self-paced instruction and product simulations and free online forum to pose questions to experts and peers, and share practices and tips.

MicroStrategy chief operating officer Sanju Bansal said that the Mobile suite is an exciting offering that provides the software, tools, and infrastructure to build a fully-functioning mobile business intelligence app, at no cost.
