HP has unveiled new private cloud offerings for Oracle applications that shorten and simplify the deployment process.

HP said that the new offerings are designed to support complex, multi-tiered environments, and are based on its BladeSystem Matrix and enhanced with its cloud service automation software and StorageWorks data services.

The private cloud offering features one-touch application provisioning and a self-service portal for delivering Oracle application services on-demand.

The new offerings allow clients to reduce maintenance tasks and costs, and provides automated deployment, monitoring and compliance of Oracle applications.

The company said that through its Cloud Maps customised for Oracle applications and imported directly into BladeSystem Matrix, clients can populate data and build a catalog of application services for business.

In addition, Cloud Consulting Services provide expertise needed for clients to transform their existing delivery approaches into efficient shared-services models, including discovery, design and implementation.

HP Oracle alliance VP Mike Crowsen said that the new Private Cloud Solutions for Oracle applications, enables clients to achieve levels of deployment speed, simplicity and flexibility never before possible.
