Pervasip, a provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and smartphone applications, has signed a letter of intent to acquire information technology services firm Infiniti Systems Group.

Based in Ohio, Infiniti offers businesses with information security, managed services, custom software applications and IT staffing.

Pervasip said that the letter of intent signed by both the companies contain binding and non-binding provisions.

Upon completing the acquisition of Infiniti’s services and customer base, Pervasip expects to increase its revenues and write commercial mobile applications.

Both the companies are working to complete a definitive purchase agreement, and the closing is subject to various conditions, including completion of an audit by an independent registered public accounting firm.

Infiniti president John Bianco said that the mobile VoIP apps developed by Pervasip are efficient and advantageous over many of the company’s competitors.
