Wipro Technologies has entered into a co-development initiative with Oracle to jointly develop a product lifecycle management offering for the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
The companies said that the new process integration pack offering is being developed using Oracle Application Integration Architecture, and intends to integrate Oracle’s Agile Product Life Cycle Management for Process with Oracle Process Manufacturing and Oracle Product Hub.
The integration will provide a streamlined and orchestrated product lifecycle management process for the CPG industry and help customers achieve a faster time to market with better visibility on compliance issues.
Wipro’s contribution will include CPG domain expertise as well as development skills and accelerators to co-develop the offering with Oracle.
The two companies said that this offering intends to offer a business process-based integration that is easy to deploy, configure, operate, maintain and upgrade, thereby offering an optimal ‘total cost of ownership’ structure for customers.
Wipro Technologies Consumer Packaged Goods Industry Vertical vice president Somjit Amrit said that the offering will help enable CPG companies to be more innovative and launch new products faster and with significantly lower risk.
