Ulticom has reported total revenues of $8.9m for the second quarter of 2010, a decrease of 25% compared to $11.9m for the same quarter in 2009.

The company’s operating loss for the quarter was $0.48m compared to loss of $1.12m for the same period last year.

The company posted loss before income taxes of $0.17m for the second quarter compared to $0.75m for the same quarter prior year.

For the quarter ended 31 July 2010, the company posted net loss of $1.2m, or $0.11 per share, compared to net loss of $0.5m, or $0.05 per share, for the same period last year.

Ulticom president and CEO Shawn Osborne said that despite the ongoing weakness in deployment of the company’s signaling component products, it continues to make progress with its Tier 1 telecom equipment customer base by integrating next generation wireless signaling system offerings.
