Aten International, a designer and manufacturer of connectivity offerings, has launched CM0264, a new 2×4 DVI-HDMI matrix switch, further extending its range of CubiQ USB KVMP offerings.

The company said that the new matrix switch allows users to switch between two HDMI and two DVI enabled PCs and share USB peripherals and high-definition audio from a dual-display console.

CM0264 switch features a new picture-in-picture (PIP) 3n1 view mode that allows users to simultaneously control one computer on one display and view three other video sources on other display.

The CM0264 also offers a cursor shift function in dual display mode, and a graphical user interface (GUI) which incorporates a file management function that supports on-screen file transfer and copy-paste functionality.

In addition, the new switch supports multiplatform operations including Windows, Linux and Mac and integrates an auto scan function allowing users to monitor all computers and HDMI devices.

Aten International president Kevin Chen said that the new CM0264 allows users to easily play computer games with their multi-function gaming keyboard while monitoring work applications and downloading videos or music on another computer.
