ITCDeltaCom, a provider of integrated communication services, has reported total operating revenue of $110.9m for the second quarter of 2010, a decrease of 6.5% as compared to $118.6m for the same period last year.

The company’s revenues from integrated communications services decreased by 9% to $91.3m, while wholesale services, and equipment sales and related services revenue increased by 5% and 7.5% to $15.3m and $4.3m respectively.

For the quarter ended 30 June 2010, the company posted an operating income of $9.64m as compared to $4.94m of Q2 FY10.

The company reported a net loss of $6.51m, compared to a net loss of $2.74m for the year ago quarter.

ITCDeltaCom chief financial officer Richard Fish said that they are pleased with the results they are realising from the investments in network optimisation, systems and processes, as they reported adjusted EBITDA of $23.5m and operating income of $9.6m in the quarter.

"The opportunistic refinancing we completed in the quarter provides us with the financial strength and flexibility to manage the business for the long-term," Fish said.
