DecisionPoint Systems has reported net sales of $13.3m for the second quarter of 2010, an increase of 10% compared to $12m for the same quarter in 2009.
The company said that general economic improvement and significant growth in field mobility have contributed to the increase of net sales.
The company’s operating income was $0.04m for the second quarter compared to $0.49m for the same period last year.
The company reported gross profit of $2.52m for the quarter compared to $2.45m for the same quarter prior year.
EBITDA was a loss of $28,000 in the second quarter of 2010, compared to an EBITDA of $438,000 in the same period a year-ago.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2010, the company posted net loss of $0.85m, or $0.04 per share, compared to $0.03m, or $0.00 per share, for the same period last year.
DecisionPoint Systems CEO Nic Toms said that for the second half of 2010, the company expects revenues of around $32m to $34m, with income from operations of $1.7m to $2m, and earnings per share of $0.03 to $0.04.
"The company is also continuing to evaluate potential acquisition opportunities which could establish better economies of scale and build upon our strong growth," Toms said.
