Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) and AT&T have unveiled two new quick messaging full touchscreen devices – the Eternity II and the Flight II.

The new Samsung Eternity II messaging device features AT&T mobile TV, and includes three scrolling home screens and drag-and-drop widgets which allow customers to customise user experience.

The device offers enhanced social networking with services like AT&T Social Net which consolidates networking sites including Facebook, Twitter and Myspace into one application.

In addition, Eternity II also includes: mobile email; SMS, MMS, video messaging and instant messaging; HTML browser; smart gestures; GPS functionality; Bluetooth v2.1+ EDR; 2.0 megapixel camera and camcorder; and an expandable memory up to 32GB.

The Samsung Flight II offers similar features to that of Eternity II. In addition, its features a touchscreen with a horizontal slide-out Qwerty keyboard, three customisable menu screens and drag-and-drop widgets for customisation, and a HTML web browser.

Samsung Flight II also offers multimedia package which includes a music player, 2MP camera with camcorder and expandable memory up to 16GB and an enhanced social networking with PicDial.

Both Eternity II and Flight II features tri-band 3G connectivity and quad-band GSM technology, which allow AT&T customers to make calls in around 220 countries and download data in about 195.
