Imprivata has introduced OneSign 4.5, which features OneSign Secure Walk-Away, capabilities such as strong authentication for Citrix and RDP sessions, support for virtualised desktops and FIPS 140-2 compliance.
The company said that its new offering solves the workflow and security challenges organisations face by strengthening user authentication, streamlining application access and simplifying compliance reporting.
Imprivata said that the version 4.5 uses intelligent computer vision technology with active presence detection to secure unattended desktops without changing end-user behavior. It enables desktops to follow users with capabilities that enable secure roaming including strong authentication, single sign-on, session management and location-aware desktop personalisation and customisation.
In addition, the new OneSign secures a computer desktop from unauthorised access, supports additional workflows through OneSign ProveID and enables scalibility.
