Business intelligence software provider MicroStrategy has reported revenues of $108m for the second quarter of 2010, an increase of 23% compared to $88m for the same period last year.

The company has posted an operating income of $12m, compared to $10m for the same quarter last year. Operating expenses increased 25% to $69m from $55.3m in the same period a year ago.

For the second quarter ended June 30, 2010, the company posted a net income of $12m, or $0.97 per share, compared to $10m, or $0.81 per share for the second quarter of 2010.

Product licenses revenues grew 47% to $30m from $20.5m and product support and other services revenues increased by to $79m from $67m in the second quarter of 2010.
