American Industrial Systems (AIS) has introduced a line of Industrial Touch Screen Panel PCs featuring CAN-bus (controller-area network) interface that supports for industrial automation, marine, and automotive applications.
The company said that the Operator Panel PC’s feature LCD panels for high performance and long product life cycle. Touch screens are available in resistive, SAW, capacitive, and IR technologies.
AIS said that HMI CAN-bus terminal provides a cost effective pre-designed offerings for users to control, monitor, and program CAN-bus systems. The touch Screen industrial panel PC’s are available in open frame, panel mount, IP65/NEMA4 bezel, and chassis housings.
According to AIS, Can-Bus terminals are designed to be reliable, long lifetime support and availability, high performance, easily programmable and accessed supporting a non-proprietary-hardware based offerings.
Panel PC has a touchscreen capability, ruggedised housing, and several I/O connections, and is easily deployable into build, factory, and industrial automation applications. It features 5.7" to 20.1" Industrial LED backlit displays; and HMI (Human Machine Interface) touch screen ready platform.
The company said that the integration of communication ports supports RS232, RS485, as well as Ethernet connectivity to Modbus and Modbus/TCP; built-in USB ports support transferring files or updating firmware. The new PCs consume less power and feature fanless operation; and have wide operating temperature capable from -25° C to 55° C.
