NetQin Mobile has released NetQin Mobile Guard, a free mobile application, for S60 the 3rd and 5th devices that features a package of system optimisation, web management, and proactive defence tools.
According to NetQin Mobile, Guard v2.4 optimises system performance while minimising the power consumption, and keeping users in control of the amount of internet usage.
The Guard v2.4 also features mobile optimisation scans to allow users to have their phones running at optimum speed. These include an Operating System Scan that scans for basic characteristics that the phone may possess.
The company said that the package allows users to manually get into the system and choose to delete unnecessary items by using application, boot and task managers available. A spam cleaner is also installed along with the package to allow users to clean out any spam that may exist in the device.
Guard v2.4 has an Anti-Malware scan feature that protects the system from malicious programs and files. Guard v2.4 also has a Safe Mode option that provides a safe environment for solving device problems and prevents the loss of data.
The company said that the NetQin Mobile Guard v2.4 detects and records any incoming and outgoing internet traffic on the system.
