Radio IP Software has released a new version of ipUnplugged mobile VPN offerings with enhancements including support for PDA on Mobile Windows, FIPS 140-2 compliance, validated AES 256 encryption, and simplified user and license management for business-critical communications.

The company said that the new version of ipUnplugged’s built-in location allows mobile VPN to automatically connect whenever a network connection is available. ipUnplugged also transparently analyses connections and disables encryption when users connect via a secure network.

According to Radio IP Software, the new version ipUnplugged mobile VPN comes with enhancements including, FIPS 140-2 validated AES modules encrypt all data transmitted between the ipUnplugged client and server.

The company said that the new version of ipUnplugged mobile VPN now supports all devices using Windows Mobile Operating System.
