Radvision has unveiled a new video conferencing offering for the SMB market, which provides an all inclusive HD video conferencing room system, with integrated desktop conferencing and multi-party MCU.

The company said that its new Scopia XT1000 SMB offering is built on Scopia XT1000 HD room system and combines HD room system capabilities along with embedded multi-party conferencing, desktop conferencing and firewall traversal.

According to Radvision, Scopia XT1000 SMB offering features dual 1080p video, full band audio and high resolution data sharing; and 4 or 9 Participant HD MCU with continuous presence. Its HD desktop conferencing for the PC and Mac, includes HD video and data collaboration. It has no registration or user specific licenses and enables desktop conferencing to be installed on an unlimited number of PCs and Macs.

Robert Romano, vice president of enterprise marketing at Radvision, said: “Historically the SMB market has been underserved by the video conferencing industry because of high priced and complex systems, ultimately delaying the adoption of video conferencing by SMBs.

“This unique integration of the price/performance of the Scopia XT1000 and our market leading Scopia Desktop provides an affordable and deployable solution ideally suited to the requirements of the SMB market.”
