Kaspersky Lab, a developer of internet threat management applications, has signed an agreement with SureWest Communications to provide additional security protection for SureWest internet subscribers.
Kaspersky Lab’s technology is claimed to leverage advanced detection software to combat all forms of malicious software, including viruses and spyware, before they can attack a PC, as well as real-time virus scanning of files and email. The offering provides SureWest users with internet security protection to defend against internet threats and combat programs designed to steal the financial and confidential data stored on a computer.
The Kaspersky Internet Security application is provided to SureWest internet subscribers as a value-added feature at no additional cost.
