Gaming and eating take away is going to get a lot easier thanks to Just Eat.

According to a Reddit post by one of the Just Eat Product Research team, the company is working on an Xbox One app and it needs gamers to test it.

The post went in to some detail as to the method behind its app development process with the poster, Ben Paul, saying: “Everything we design and build is done in constant feedback with people who would actually be using the app. We use a user-centred iterative process called ‘Lean Startup’ that pushes a product around a ‘Build – Measure – Learn’ loop, getting closer and closer to a perfect product with each cycle.

“We start by trying to understand what Xbox gamers want when they’re ordering food through their TVs, quickly build a concept we think might hit those needs (we do this with paper prototypes, mock-ups in tools like Marvel or Sketch, or very lightweight throw-away code), give it to people to try, update our designs based on the feedback and go around the Build-Measure-Learn cycle again.”

The point of the post is to gain some attention from Reddit users and get them to download the beta of the app, test it out, and let the company know what you think of it.

To sweeten the deal the company is also offering five vouchers worth £20 to those who answer the survey.

Initial reaction on the message board has been positive, although some users have questioned the impact this might have on their waist line.
