General Dynamics has won a $95.2m contract with the US Navy to provide research, development, and operations services for the Information Fusion Center at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division in China Lake, California.
It will also provide training for newly developed software, hardware, and other products, and will be responsible for independent verification and validation of sensors and systems relating to critical infrastructure protection and force protection.
General Dynamics’ team for the contract includes General Dynamics Information Technology, Raytheon Network Centric Systems, Northrop Grumman Information Technology, Whitney, Bradley and Brown, New Directions Technologies, International Association of Virtual Organizations, Research and Scientific, and Advanced Fusion Technologies.

Last October, the company won a five-year $183m contract from the US Naval Air Systems Command to provide integrated logistics support services for Naval Aviation Foreign Military Sales programs. In September 2008, it won a five-year $46.3m contract from the US Navy to provide education and training products and support services to the Naval Education and Training Professional Development and Technology Center.
