UK recruitment and IT services provider Harvey Nash has opened a center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to provide next-generation wireless R&D services to clients around the world.
The company said the Wireless Technology Center will create 200 jobs. The company is expanding its Vietnam operations as part of a E54m ($68m) deal with Alcatel-Lucent. The center will be connected with Alcatel’s software R&D center in Germany
The company has been working in Vietnam since 2000 with global companies including Prudential, Honda, Stepstone, Hitachi, and the Discovery Channel. It plans to create an additional 20 to 30 jobs to staff a development center for HR software provider Stepstone.
