NetDimensions, a provider of performance, knowledge and learning management systems, has released version 5.6 of its enterprise knowledge platform.

According to the company, strategic enhancements in enterprise knowledge platform (EKP) 5.6 include dashboard views and integration with an enterprise wiki. Value-add features such as integration with Atlassian’s Confluence wiki reportedly make EKP a moreĀ useful tool for collaboration.

NetDimensions said that other new features in EKP 5.6 will enable: supervisors to track hours, skills and knowledge acquired by staff in on-the-job training programs; training managers to import IMS QTI format question pools from external assessment systems; administrators to re-schedule classes, which automatically sends users e-mail updates and notifications with iCal attachments; organizations in highly regulated industries to award partial course credit for compliance tracking and certification.

Ray Ruff, chief information officer at NetDimensions, said: The dashboard on EKP 5.6 gives administrators and managers a graphical overview of various reports in the system. It would enable them to easily gauge progress of training, assessments or compliance programs – and quickly identify any deficiencies. Our clients will have the capability to manage documents, blogs, picture galleries, forums and a whole lot more through EKP’s single sign-on integration with confluence.
