Cadre Technologies has announced that, through a partnership with Tom Zosel Associates, or TZA, it is integrating TZA’s ProTrack labor management software with Cadre’s Cadence warehouse management system.

According to Cadre Technologies, with the addition of ProTrack to Cadence, its customers can increase productivity and employee retention, reduce labor costs and improve overall business while gaining substantial savings in operating costs. The partnership between Cadre and TZA means Cadre’s Cadence is one incorporating warehouse management software with labor management capabilities.

Paul Schweet, vice president of TZA, said: Labor management has become a base requirement for running a cost-effective distribution operation because labor costs account for 50 to 65% of a company’s total distribution spending. In fact, we have found that when warehouses are not using labor management software, costs are typically 25 to 40% higher.

Joe Caston, president and CEO of Cadre Technologies, said: Cadre’s dedication to improving our customers’ bottom lines will always be a priorit. Our collaboration with TZA allows us to enhance our warehouse management software with labor management tools that track labor costs, letting companies do more by driving efficiency into their workforce.
