CareFlex, a provider of benefit plan consulting and administrative services to employers and benefit plan sponsors, has selected Metavante as its single-source provider of integrated benefits administration and payment software and benefit debit card facility.
Previously, CareFlex used only Metavante’s benefit debit card technology which interfaced to its former administration software. Going forward, CareFlex will employ Metavante’s BenSoft platform for benefits administration and payment software, as well as integrated healthcare debit card technology, said Metavante.
As a result, where CareFlex previously worked with multiple systems to give employers access to benefits administration and healthcare payments technology, CareFlex can now make available all the functionality through one Metavante relationship.
Inter-operability between all benefit accounts, CareFlex can offer this functionality to employers and their employees as a result of aligning with Metavante and its benefits administration software. Specific plan member and account holder benefits powered by Metavante technology include a benefit debit card to access all benefit accounts, as well as a web portal to view/manage all benefit accounts and research its health/wealth information needs, added Metavante.
