QuadraMed has unveiled Quantim Health Information (HIM) Workflow, a new suite that automates distribution and allocation of coding assignments and allows organisations to measure and monitor coder productivity. It also released Affinity Revenue Cycle Management M8 (ARCM) system.

The company said that it will integrate ARCM system with the Quantim HIM suite to provide coders with a view of encounters including charge-based codes to support real-time, interactive application of compliance edits.

QuadraMed has also claimed to enhance the integration between ARCM and QuadraMed Enterprise Scheduling (QES).

The company further added that with the integration between Affinity Revenue Cycle Management and both the QES and Quantim HIM, the users would be able to achieve benefits from claims submissions and reimbursement processes. Reportedly, they would also be able to benefit from increased productivity, with the ability to select a visit and access the appropriate ARCM procedure and then return to the user’s original starting point in QES.

Chris Callahan, vice president of product strategy at QuadraMed, said: “The new release and integration of the Affinity Revenue Cycle Management with the Quantim HIM suite and QES provides healthcare organisations with robust tools to maximise patient throughput, prevent costly claims denials, increase revenue, and expand clinician and employee satisfaction throughout the enterprise.”
