Glynn County in Georgia has implemented Infor Public Sector’s DynamicPortal for Hansen 8, its government-specific, internet-based software for citizen interaction in planning, code enforcement and public works.
According to the Infor, DynamicPortal provides the citizens of Glynn County 24-hour access to government services and allows them to complete their business with the county.
Glynn County citizens, contractors, builders, and others can use DynamicPortal to access information from the planning department through its web site. The software tracks the steps involved in the planning process of land and community development, such as rezoning, subdividing, variances, and special uses for commercial and/or residential development, said Infor.
The integration of DynamicPortal with Glynn County’s existing Hansen 8 software from Infor Public Sector improves operations for the county by increasing interdepartmental visibility and communication, added Infor.
Bob Benstead, vice president of strategic planning at Infor Public Sector, said: Counties like Glynn recognize that partnering with a software company with a history of developing technology to improve business operations and decades of government-specific domain expertise, can improve its operational performance, the quality of life for its residents, and extend the value of its citizens’ tax dollars.
