Portico Systems, a developer of integrated management services, has launched version 7.0 of its Portico, which evolves and broadens the Portico platform by incorporating provider relationship management, provider contract management and clinical collaboration.

According to the company, these enhancements strengthen Portico as an integrated provider management (IPM) platform, which enables health plans to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the provider network. Through the IPM approach, health plans can reduce medical, administrative and IT costs while simultaneously increasing provider loyalty.

The company said that Portico 7.0 enables health plans to improve their end-to-end provider management processes through workflow automation, and increases the health plan’s ability to provide a collaborative and coordinated patient care experience. Portico 7.0 also improves provider performance and incentive management through dashboard analytics.

Portico 7.0 also offers enhancements in many of the platform’s existing offerings such as provider contract management, provider relationship management, provider selection for claims processing and provider/member coordination and collaboration capabilities.

Mike Flanagan, vice president of products and marketing for Portico Systems, said: As health plans prepare for market changes, there is emphasis on collaboration between plans, providers and members. Our 7.0 offering improves the delivery of care and enables health plans to achieve greater medical, operational and IT cost savings.
