You might have been conned by all the flackery into believing that the computer-aided software engineering market was really important in the scale of things, so an announcement from the horse’s mouth puts the situation into useful perspective: Ernst & Young CASE Technology Ltd has consolidated its position as the leading CASE tool supplier in the UK, it says, reporting revenues of UKP6.7m for the year to June 30, up 47%; the firm now commands over 25% of the UK CASE tools market – so there we are – a total market of just UKP27m.
