Claris Corp, Apple Computer Inc’s wholly-owned software subsidiary, has announced its first spreadsheet offering, designed to run under Apple’s new Systems 7 operating system: Claris Resolve will be available in the third quarter for GBP275; also announced are two revised software packages, enhanced and upgraded to run under System 7 – MacWrite Pro, which will be out in the autumn for GBP175, and MacProject II 2.5, out next month for GBP400; upgrades will be free to customers buying the previous versions of MacWrite and MacProject between now and the release dates; products available from Frontline Distribution, Basingstoke, Hants.
