Cadence Design Systems Inc, San Jose has won a long-term agreement from Philips Semiconductors for its integrated circuit design and framework environments: Cadence says the agreement establishes the environment as the design standard for Philips’ chip activities worldwide and lays foundations for technology transfers between the two.
