San Diego-based Software Products International is shipping OA Vision, a graphical image management tool for Open Access III: OA Vision enables users with VGA or EGA monitors to store, capture and print photographic-quality images directly inside Open Access III database memo fields; OA Vision integrates input from scanners, digitisers, video capture devices, or any software that produces a compatible PCX file; users can decide how images are to be stored, either individually stored in the same resolution from which they came, in EGA resolution, or in black and white dithered; OA Vision runs under Open Access III, version 3.02 and its compiled database applications; it requires 512Kb random access memory, a Super VGA video adaptor with at least 256K or any 64K EGA system; OA Vision is $145 normally, but reduced to $100 until March 31.
