Tata Consultancy Services said that it has received a two year multi-million dollar deal with Singapore’s People’s Association, a statutory board under the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports, to provide annual Application Management Services (AMS).
Under the agreement, TCS will develop and maintain People’s Associations’ business and citizen centric applications including mission critical applications. This involves consolidating its multiple vendor environments allowing reduced maintenance costs and simplified system administration. This is expected to enable higher process efficiency and staff productivity across the organisation.
Girija Pande, EVP and head of TCS Asia Pacific, said: “Our expertise in AMS, combined with our ability to deliver certainty of results will provide sustained value to People’s Association. We have instilled strict quality control procedures and continue to drive more value for our Singaporean clients through increased service quality provided by our team of highly qualified people with local knowledge of culture and processes.”
In February, TCS has won a three-year contract with Singapore Airlines to provide IT Services for a suite of applications used by its group of companies.
Earlier, TCS also had partnerships with Singapore’s flag carrier SIA, Temasek Holdings, GIC and DBS Bank. It has recently implemented TCS Bancs Corporate Actions business application for the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC).
