IBM France SA has teamed with Draegerwerk AG, a Lbeck medical technology company, and Human Microprocessing Inc of Delaware in a joint venture in Paris to make hospital data and communications systems. The new Hospitronics SARL looks for $2.5m sales in the first year, rising to $17.5m in 1993. It is capitalised at $500,000 and is targeting a European market put at 50,000 beds; it wants to garner 30% of that market by 1995.
