Overland Park, Kansas-based Kustom Electronics Inc, which provides computers for police cars and taxis, announced that it had suspended operations pending resolution of its outstanding obligations under a 1989 mobile data contract with the city of Jacksonville in Florida – negotiations with Jacksonville’s Sheriff’s office are in process, the company said; it made a net loss of $758,127 for the first six months of 1992 but says its board continues to believe that there is certain intangible and future value to the company; during the suspension, the board will work with its creditors on a partial repayment plan on the $700,000 that it owes.
