CA, an independent IT management software company, has released a new version of Workload Automation, formerly dSeries Workload Automation, a distributed, hosted enterprise job scheduling system that offers cross-platform, event-driven automation across both mainframe and distributed systems.
According to CA, Workload Automation release 11.1 features bi-directional workload initiation, dynamic business event recognition, and simplified job management. These enhancements help improve service quality while reducing the cost of service delivery through centralized, cross-platform management of enterprise workloads across all applications.
CA Workload Automation r11.1 is expected to help customers automate in context to business priorities by leveraging new and existing IT investments. The company claims the system to be instrumental in increasing business agility, service quality and control, as well as reducing risk and human error, minimizing costs, and improving IT efficiency.
