People already reckon there’s a market in adding hardware value to Hewlett-Packard Co’s hot new HP 95LX Palmtop computer, and Sausalito, California-based Nuvotech Inc has come out with what it calls The Connectivity Kit, which enables the pocket micro to transfer and translate word processing, HyperCard files and 1-2-3 spreadsheets between the 95LX and an MS-DOS, a Windows or a Macintosh micro depending on which kit you’ve got; it also enables the uploading and downloading of 95LX applications such as the appointment book, phone book, memo, calculator and filer; each of the $100 kits includes five foot serial cable, nine-pin to 25-pin adaptor, 3.5 or 5.25 disk with software, and a owners manual, and they all arrive in November.
