Huntsville, Alabama-based SCI Systems Inc plans to open a manufacturing facility in Dorval, Quebec, Canada: it has bought manufacturing assets there from Compas Inc and assumed a lease on a 40,000 square foot facility; the contract manufacturer will use it to manufacture products for the Canadian market and offer multinational customers the ability to satisfy Canadian and Quebec offset and content rules.
