Woodbury, New York integrator Comverse Technology Inc has completed its planned acquisition of Startel Corp after approval by holders of a majority of the outstanding Startel shares: Startel shareholders will receive 0.5778 shares of newly issued Comverse common stock for each Startel held, and if all accept, Startel will represent about 1.9% of the enlarged equity of Comverse.
