Although L M Ericsson Telefon AB got its announcement in first, AT&T Co reckons that it has won more than 50% of the business being let by Mannesmann Mobilfunk GmbH for Germany’s D2 digital cellular network: AT&T Network Systems Deutschland GmbH, bidding microwave radios from Digital Microwave Corp’s DMC Telecom Ltd with AT&T’s own multiplexors and monitoring equipment, puts the value at $88m to $118m.
