Melville, New York-based Arrow Electronics Inc agreed in principle to pay 1m new Arrow shares for 51% of Italy’s largest distributor of semiconductors, Silverstar Ltd SpA, which owns and operates Silverstar, Lasi, and Celdis Components and has sales of over $100m. Arrow also formed EDI Electronics Distribution International BV holding company.
