Sema Group has been awarded a UKP13m contract by British Nuclear Fuels Plc: Sema will provide all control and management systems for British Nuclear’s New Oxide Fuel Complex at the company’s Springfields manufacturing plant in Lancashire: Sema tendered for the contract with Instem Plc’s Instem Computer Systems which has a subcontract worth UKP3m – further subcontracts worth UKP2m are seen over the next few months; the core of the systems will be Sema’s Fast/Tools Scada software which will run on a number DEC VAXs.
