San Jose, California-based electronic test automation specialist CrossCheck Technology Inc signed a letter of intent to acquire the AIDA Design System automatic test pattern generation product line from Teradyne Inc, which bought it a few years back, and reckons that the buy will make it the industry’s first broad-line test development and diagnostic systems company with a comprehensive family of products for all types of system designers; terms of the pact were not given.
