AT&T Co and Foster City, California-based Go Corp announced yesterday that they plan a new communications link to enable PenPoint-based computer users to communicate with each other and with electronic mail users through the EasyLink network. Go will provide a communications link that connects users of Go Mail the universal messaging interface that is part of the new Go Message Center – to AT&T Mail service. Go Mail and AT&T Mail Link will eventually enable workers to retrieve information from bulletin boards and other information sources via EasyLink and PenPoint users will get the AT&T Mail link free with PenPoint and will not be charged the monthly access fee, paying only for usage.
